Another successful Newcomers Whisky Club event is now in the books! We had another fantastic turnout of whisky fans – including a few first-time guests! – and, as always there was some wonderful food to munch on, everyone had more than a little fun….and we tasted some great new Single Malt whiskies! Definitely a great way to spend a Saturday with friends!
“The Bee’s Knees” was the theme of the evening and all the selected whiskies came from distilleries whose names start with the letter “B”.
Our whisky lineup included Balblair 2002, an independent bottling of Bladnoch 22 year-old from Battlehill, a BenRiach 15 year-old finished in a Pedro Ximenez cask, the newly released Benromach 10 year-old, a bottling of Ben Nevis 17 year-old from Montgomerie’s, and the Ballechin Discovery Series #8, a whisky from the Edradour distillery and which was matured in Sauternes casks.
As hoped, the whiskies offered a wide variety of flavors and everyone found a favorite or two….!
Here are some photos from the evening!
